The Sid Award
Do you have an idea to share with your colleagues? Bring it to the next Annual Meeting, where you’ll have an opportunity to present your idea in 90 seconds or less at the Fast & Furious session.
Plus, compete for the chance to win the coveted Sid Award, named after industry leader and 1994 Forum President Sidney A. Friedman, CLU, ChFC, MSFS, RHU, LUTCF, and presented annually.
About the Award
Named after 1994 Forum President, Sidney A. Friedman, The Sid Award was launched at the 2006 Annual Meeting to recognize winners of the No. 1 sales idea presented during the Fast & Furious Sales Ideas session.

Winners of the Sid Award Receive:
1st Place
First place winners receive The Sid Award along with four (4) free hotel nights and one (1) free registration to the next year’s Annual Meeting.
2nd Place
Second place winner receives one (1) free hotel night and one (1) free registration to the next year’s Annual Meeting.
3rd Place
Third place winner receives one (1) free hotel night at the next year’s Annual Meeting.
Sid Award Winner Policy Details
Adopted March 2008
Winners of The Sid Award will sit as a moderator for the following year’s Fast & Furious Sales Ideas session and will serve as moderator and/or judge for two consecutive years, thereafter. Moderators and judges are not eligible to receive the Sid Award.
