2008 Annual Meeting Starts the Year Off Right

Thank you to all attendees and industry partners for sharing, contributing and making the 2008 Annual Meeting successful. Celebrating 35 years of excellence in Miami Beach was a great way to kick off this milestone year.

Nearly 80% of the membership was in attendance, making this one of the best attended Annual Meetings to date. It is the goal of The International Forum to give you a great starting point for the year ahead, and the Annual Meeting is designed to provide you with the tools to make that happen.

In addition to the flow of ideas in the session rooms, other highlights from the event included networking receptions, an appearance by Dan Marino who accepted the Forum’s $40,000 donation to his foundation for autism and the Fast and Furious Sales Ideas session, where Ralph Antolino Jr., JD, CLU, ChFC, won the 2008 Sid Award.

Tried and true ideas were exchanged via the new Past President Sales Ideas, thanks to Gerald P.R. Sacks (1997 President), Ralph Antolino Jr., CLU, ChFC, JD (2001 President), Amy Holmwood (2002 President) and Robert C. Slane, AEP, CLU (2005 President). The meeting wrapped with author Jim Stovall’s inspiring talk on his life journey.

The 2009 Annual Meeting is scheduled for January 24-28, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, California.
